Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 3, 2026
Soona ("Soona", "we", "us") is operated by Soona Labs, headquartered in Singapore. We provide a chat-first super-app with a built-in, non-custodial on-chain wallet. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information when you use the Soona website, apps, and related services (the "Services").
We respect your privacy. By using the Services, you confirm you have read and understood this Policy.
1. Information We Collect
We collect only what is necessary to provide and improve the Services:
- Account information: phone number or email, display name, avatar, and similar details you provide at sign-up.
- Device & log data: device model, operating system, app version, IP address, crash and performance logs.
- Usage data: feature usage and interaction statistics, typically aggregated or anonymized.
- Wallet & on-chain data: your public wallet address and on-chain transactions. On-chain data is public, immutable, and not generated or controlled by us.
- Message content: private and group messages are end-to-end encrypted; we cannot read their content and process only the minimal metadata needed for delivery.
2. How We Use Information
We use information to:
- provide, maintain, and improve the Services, and to authenticate you;
- keep the Services secure — detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and violations;
- communicate service notices, updates, and support;
- comply with applicable laws and lawful requests.
3. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only:
- with service providers (cloud, analytics, support) bound by contract;
- for legal and safety reasons, where disclosure is necessary to comply with law, enforce our terms, or protect users and the public;
- in a merger, acquisition, or asset transfer, with continued protection under this Policy;
- with your consent.
4. Blockchain & Wallet
Soona’s wallet is non-custodial: you alone hold your private keys and recovery phrase. We cannot access, recover, or transact on your behalf.
On-chain transactions are public, irreversible, and cannot be deleted once broadcast. Verify every transaction carefully. AIR and any tokens or airdrops do not constitute investment advice or a promise of returns.
5. Data Security
We use industry-standard safeguards, including end-to-end encryption of messages, encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and least-privilege principles.
No system is perfectly secure; keeping your credentials and wallet keys safe is your responsibility.
6. Data Retention
We retain your information only as long as necessary for the purposes in this Policy, then delete or anonymize it as permitted or required by law.
7. Your Rights
Subject to applicable law (e.g., Singapore PDPA, EU GDPR), you may:
- access and correct your personal data;
- request deletion or restriction of processing;
- withdraw consent previously given;
- request data portability. To exercise these rights, contact us below.
8. International Data Transfers
We may process and store data outside your country or region. Where we do, we apply appropriate safeguards consistent with applicable data-protection requirements.
9. Cookies & Similar Technologies
Our website may use necessary cookies and similar technologies for basic functionality and security. You can manage cookies through your browser settings.
10. Children
The Services are not directed to anyone under 18 (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction). If we learn we collected a minor’s data, we will delete it.
11. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via in-service notice or by updating the "Last updated" date on this page.
